Prizes, one of them for Best Documentary at the Sous International Festival. The other prize is for & quot; Best Short Documentary & quot; at the Karama Festival of Human Rights.
Films. In addition, he works in the film industry and production independently. He worked on directing and producing many short films. His interest is in the Human cases, while he believes in the power of the camera as an advocate to deliver the voice of unfortunate people. He also believes that the key to success is hidden in the team
work.

Mohamad is 32 years old. He has graduated in economics. He is a short story writer.

Biography: Takayuki Yoshikawa is a visionary filmmaker and a respected associate professor at Nagoya Zokei University, with a
profound background in art, 3DCG, and animation. His journey in digital art began at an art university, where he studied
filmmaking and 3DCG, setting the stage for a remarkable career spanning over two decades. Yoshikawa's expertise was honed at Square
Enix, where for 20 years, he played a pivotal role in designing the iconic 3DCG for the Final Fantasy series, blending technology with
storytelling in groundbreaking ways.
Transitioning from the gaming industry to academia, Yoshikawa has dedicated the last seven years to nurturing the next generation of
creatives while continuing his exploration into independent animation projects. His directorial debut, & quot; Departure," is a testament to his
belief in the transformative power of art and technology, reflecting a deeply personal journey yet resonating with universal themes of
change and resilience.

Helia is a young artist with great ideas. She experienced many different kinds of fine arts but filmmaking is her passion. "I am who I am" is her expression.

Fidae Sbaai, a Moroccan filmmaker born in 1988 in Tangier.
A Professional Degree in Cinema at ECAT - Etudes Cinématographiques et Audiovisuelles de
Tétouan - at the University of Abdel-Malik Essaadi in 2011.
And an Advanced French Language Diploma DALF C1 from the French Institute of Tangier- Tetouan in Morocco.

Quinceañera Davis is a dedicated and multi-faceted artist whose work exemplifies a commitment to excellence and depth, intended to encourage, inspire, and uplift, personally and collectively.

Bio: In love with Lebanon for more than a decade, Matthieu Haag never ceases to show images of his adopted country to the whole world: films, photo exhibitions, and conferences. In 2013, he directed AScentt of Lebanon, which finds its roots in the city of Beirut. Screened several times in Lebanon, the film has been selected for more than 40 international festivals and received 5 awards. Meanwhile, Matthieu released his first feature film in cinema theatres in 2019, The Orphanage, a film that was acclaimed by critics, selected (notably Vision du réel in Nyon, Switzerland) and awarded at several international festivals. He also directed short films, many times selected and awarded (see filmography). Today, he stubbornly continues his work on Lebanon, documenting the growing difficulties of this society which nothing seems to be able to oppose. Bio: Fernando G. Pliego Born in 1972, he works as a programmer, but combines his job with a regulated career as an amateur cineast since 2011. Graduated in Image and Sound at the Completeness University of Madrid in 1995, and he has been a camera operator in several Javier López Velasco shorts (Vivir Sunanda, Anstead Express). "Lu and The Ghost (Click)" is his twelfth short film. Among his previous works, the more important ones could be Do You Hear Me? (¿Come the gusto, 2015), Desamor (Heartbreak, 2022) and, especially, The Ball (La pelota, 2017), best Euromerican Short in Ebertfest 2018 and Best International Short Film in XI Editioned Corto e Cultura Film Festival in Manfredonia, between other awards and more than 60 international selections.

Biography:
Born in Barquisimeto, Edo. Lara, a student at UNEARTE LARA, and at BARQUICINEMA, of which, as a director, his works stand out: LA MUJER MISTERIOSA, made in the UNEARTE Initial Path and
becoming an official selection in the regional shorts mentioned at the Barquisimeto Film Festival 2023,
and the short film EL BUENO EL MALO Y EL PERRO, made in the 2nd cohort of BARQUICINEMA,
screened in cinemas and is currently in the festival stage.

DUALITY is the most recent work of the director Jaime Arteaga Heredia, which is presented as a university project, aspiring to continue climbing at the cinematographic level and reach festivals and more people.

Biography:
Born in 1986 in Angoulême (France), Florent Lahousse is a filmmaker and freelance post-production artist.

Passionate about cinema and imagination, his audiovisual background led him to co-create fan films and other cinematic singularities based on beloved universes.

As a co-director, co-screenwriter, visual effects supervisor, and artistic director for the humoristic collective Drop The LOL, he has also devoted his time to organizing film events and screenings.

With HUNTING GROUND, he directs his first dramatic genre short film, aiming to bring to life a project that is very close to his heart.

She is an award-winning Film Director. Follow Your Dream is one of her first film experiences.

Welcome to The Sahar International Short Film Festival 2024.
We have reached the announcement time. We are proud to present 28 short films, each with a great story to tell. Brave filmmakers whose stories sometimes came from personal dreams or nightmares and sometimes inspired by the surrounding environment or noble and honest narrators for the ancient legends of their land to introduce us to the unwritten culture and secrets of this vast world. Please accept our thanks.
This year, among the 28 selected films, we have carefully reviewed the films whose production has ended the current year or were from the premiere films section. It was difficult to select the best film of the festival, But with a lot of effort, Seven films were selected from the premiere category

submitted films.

"Follow Your Dream" was not judged because the filmmaker was actually the jury of the festival. Therefore honestly, she withdrew her participation from the competition category in favor of other filmmakers. The selected films along with the trailers of all official selection films will be screened to the public from 14:00 to 16:00 in the cultural hall of the Oldham Library: "Performance Space".

به زمان اعلام رسمی فیلم های منتخب امسال رسیدیم. ما مفتخریم که 28 فیلم کوتاه منتخب را از بین فیلم های ارسالی برگزیدیم که هر کدام داستانی شگفت برای گفتن دارند. فیلمسازان شجاعی که داستانشان گاه برگرفته از رویاها یا کابوس های شخصی و گاه برگرفته از محیط اطراف است و یا راویانی نجیب و صادق هستند برای افسانه های کهن سرزمینشان تا ما را با فرهنگ نانوشته و رازهای این دنیای پهناورآشنا کنند. لطفا تشکر ما را بپذیرید .

امسال در بین 28 فیلم منتخب، تنها بخش فیلم های پریمیر یا فیلم هایی که تولیدشان در سال جاری به پایان رسیده است, مورد بازنگری قرار گرفت. انتخاب بخش فیلم های بهترین جشنواره, برای ما دشوار بود اما با تانی بسیار بالاخره هفت فیلم انتخاب شد. فیلم رویای خود را دنبال کن مورد داوری قرار نگرفت چون فیلمساز در واقع همان داور جشنواره بود. پس صادقانه از حیطه بخش رقابتی انصراف داد.
